Controlling your overwhelming thoughts is hard
We teach you how to really do it.
Online Therapy For Eating Disorders, Self-Harm & Suicidal Thoughts Across Pennsylvania
Things feel out of control. Your thoughts won’t stop racing. Emotions crash like waves—or you just feel numb. You’re doing everything you can to keep it together on the outside, but inside? It’s chaos, emptiness, or both.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. Whether you’re dealing with:
The demeaning voice in your head telling you you’ll never be thin enough
The controlling thoughts telling you to hurt yourself
The negative darkness that makes you feel like it would be easier to just not be here anymore
The overwhelming fear that if you just died no one even notice or care
Therapy can help you find your way back to yourself—the version of you that feels real. Steady. Strong.
Tired trying to hold it together on the outside— but inside, it’s all too much?
Therapy Can Help
Hi, I’m Crystal!I help teens and young women quiet the constant storm of negative thoughts in their mind.
If you’re turning to cutting, starving, or suicidal thoughts, therapy can help you find better ways to cope with intense emotional pain—so you can start living a life you actually want and go after your dreams that matter most.
You don’t have to wait. Therapy can help you start your new life today.
I get it—because I’ve been there, too.
I became a therapist because therapy saved my life.
It taught me how to manage the overwhelming thoughts and urges, silence the voice in my head and not just pretend to look fine on the outside, but actually be fine on the inside. It helped me learn that even through my own seasons of the emotional pain, regardless of being in a room of 100 people and still feeling alone, I was stronger, in control, and powerful.
Now I help other women learn how to control the thoughts, urges, and end the darkness. I know how painful it is to be at the mercy of your own self, and how powerful it is to take back your control.
These days, I live in farm country of the beautiful Pennsylvania Mountains with my spouse, two kids, three rescue dogs and eleven chickens. I love all different types of food, skiing, hiking with the family, and yoga but I also know how hard it is to actually enjoy or cope with anything when your mind won’t stop spinning.
That’s why I show up to this work with deep compassion, real strength, and a steady belief that change is possible.
Start your S.H.I.F.T.with a counselor who’s been there.
This is a space where the truth is safe.
The truth that you’re overwhelmed.
The truth that you’re tired of surviving.
The truth that you don’t want to feel like this anymore.
Here, you can be honest about the hardest things—without being judged, minimized, or rushed.
Together, we slow things down. Untangle the mess. Get to the root. Build real tools that actually help in the moments when nothing else seems to work. And we do this through my S.H.I.F.T. method:
Silence the mental noise
by learning how to slow racing thoughts, challenge the inner critic, and regulate your nervous system in the moment so your thoughts quiet down and you can finally breathe, focus, and rest.
Heal what other therapy hasn’t touched
by going deeper into the root of the pain—not just managing symptoms, but processing what’s underneath them to release deep pain so you can feel lighter in your body and calmer in your day-to-day life.
Interrupt painful patterns
by recognizing your triggers, understanding the function of your behaviors, and practicing new responses that actually work so that you can learn to pause before reacting, make safer choices, and rebuild routines that support healing.
Find clarity and momentum
by identifying what matters to you, setting meaningful goals, and building the confidence to follow through so you can regain energy, motivation, and direction for your goals, school, or relationships.
Take back control of your story
by reconnecting with who you are beyond the pain and making choices that align with the life you want to live to rebuild your confidence, reconnect with others, and show up as the real you—steady, strong, and free.
This practice exists because I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by pain and be alone in it—and I never want anyone else to feel that way without support. So you don’t need to perform or prove anything. You just get to show up as you are and feel heard and respected.

The first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and what life has been feeling like lately. I’ll also ask some questions to help understand your goals, and we’ll start to talk about what support could look like moving forward. You don’t need to have all the answers—just show up as you are.
-
IIt depends on your goals, but many clients start feeling a shift within a few months. Some people come in for short-term support around a specific issue, while others stay longer to explore deeper patterns and make lasting changes. We’ll work at your pace and check in regularly about what’s working and what you need.
-
A little of both. I’ll always hold space for you to share what’s on your mind—but I also believe in giving you practical tools to use outside of sessions. You’ll leave with strategies you can actually use in your day-to-day life, not just insights.

I bring both lived experience and clinical expertise to this work. I know how it feels to struggle quietly while trying to keep up appearances—and I create a space where you don’t have to do that anymore. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel better, not just talk about feeling bad.
